To securely prevent air from leaking at an overlapping portion of a rod-shaped packing in a sealing component with a configuration to prevent air leakage with the rod-shaped packing which is elastic.
A seal 7 is so configured that a stick-shaped packing 8 is stuck on the outer wall surface of an air conditioning case 2 in a fashion to wrap around the circumference of an inner pipe 31, and that a flange 62 placed on the edge of an opening of a face duct 6 is pressed to the packing 8 that has been wrapped around the pipe 31 to be fixed closely for obtaining air tightness. There is provided a recessed component 20 on the air conditioning case 2 at the position where the end 13 of the packing 8 overlaps with a start portion 12 for removing a step created by the overlap of the packing 8.
