PURPOSE: To provide a sealing structure of an end of a driving roller which can effectively maintain atmospheric gas introduced into a furnace for a long period.
CONSTITUTION: A sealing structure of an end of a driving roller for a continuous furnace introduces atmospheric gas G. A gas purging chamber 8 disposed around substantially an entire outer surface of a sidewall 4a of the furnace in which ends of the rollers 5 protrude is mounted on the outer surface of the sidewall 4a. The chamber 8 has an inner space 9 in which the gas G supplied from a lower side thereof is passed through the peripheries of the ends of the rollers 5 and discharged from an upper side thereof, and an opening 13 in which the ends of the rollers 5 are inserted to externally protrude.
