To provide a sealing structure applicable to other general joint seals than a joint for a steel pipe sheet pile while solving the problems that a waste permeated water flows out of the joint for the steel pipe sheet pile, and its execution method.
A water shut-off plate 6 formed of an elastic body such as a rubber or a synthetic resin and having a water shut-off protrusion formed on one side face at both ends in the cross direction and a preset case showing a U-shaped cross section and having a size enough to store and hold the water shut-off plate in the two-folded state are prepared. The water shut-off plate 6 is folded into two and pushed into the preset case in the state of holding a fixing core material between a pair of side plate portions 6a, 6a, the preset case is suspended down into a space 7 formed between a pair of wall faces requiring water shut-off and extracted via a preset case extraction groove in a presser jig while pressing the water shut-off plate 6 with the presser jig, and the fixing core material is pulled up and removed therefrom after the presser jig is removed, thus causing the side plate portions 6a, 6a of the water shut-off plate to be resiliently pressed against the wall faces.
