Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the dimensional accuracy and durability against repeated folding operations by forming a seamless belt of a resin composite where a specific rate functional content is added to the resin content consisting of polyalkyleneterephthalate and thermoplastic elastomer having a specific material property.
CONSTITUTION: A seamless belt suitably used for electronic photocopying machines, laser beam printers and like instruments is formed of 100 pts.wt. resin consisting of 51-97wt.% PAT(polyalkyleneterephthalate) and a 49-4wt.% thermoplastic elastomer having a melting point of 100°C or higher and a melting point of PAT or lower, and also having a difference lower than 2.0 in the compatible parameter with PAT, and a resin composite consisting of a 5-50 pts.wt. functional component. As PAT, polybuthyleneterephtalate and polyethyleoeterephthalate may be used, and for PAT, a matter of 1.0-30g/10min. methyl index may be preferably used.
