Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a seamless can with a neck-in part covered with organic resin, whose neck-in part is hard to cause surface roughing and a holing even when the diameter contraction ratio of the neck-in part is large.
CONSTITUTION: A resin coated steel sheet manufactured by forming organic resin layers 16 and 17 of 5-30μm thickness on both surfaces of an aluminum killed surface treated steel sheet 15 in which total C content is 0.01 to 0.13wt.%, a solid solution C content is regulated to ≤10ppm by an overaging treatment after continuous annealing, and an average crystal grain size is ≤6.5μm is used as a base stock. By using this base stock, a seamless can 10 with a neck-in part 13 in which the ratio of neck-in part diameter/barrel part diameter is ≤0.9 and which is formed by drawing - redrawing working for thickness thinning or drawing - redrawing for thickness thinning - ironing working is manufactured. It is desirable to perform the overaging treatment at 350 t o 500°C. It is desirable that a soluble Al content is 0.01 to 0.1wt.%, and a total N content is ≤0.006wt.%.
