Abstract:
To obtain a seamless ink ribbon capable of prolonging a printing life even by using a paper having a rough surface such as Chinese paper and to provide a method for producing the seamless ink ribbon.
This seamless ink ribbon comprises a static hot-pressed article of a seamless woven fabric 3 composed of multifilament yarn as warps and a weft. The ribbon is produced by statically hot-pressing the seamless woven fabric 3 obtained by using the multifilament as both the warps and the weft by hollow weave with applying shear force to thin the thickness to 15-50% thickness before hot-pressing and fusing the seamless woven fabric 3 into a ribbon width before or after the hot-pressing.
