Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a searching device and a method, capable of shortening the distance which a moving body travels when searching is made across a searching range.SOLUTION: A searching device 10 which searches a searching range of an irregular ground includes a moving body 3 which moves on the irregular ground, a reference body 5 which is arranged on the irregular ground, a linear body 7 which extends from the moving body 3 to the reference body 5, to be stretched between them, and a searching machine 9 which can move along the linear body while supported by the linear body. The searching machine 9 can search a range on the irregular ground along the linear body 7.
