To provide a sunk lamp buoy search support device wherein not only a cost is reduced but also the device is relatively simple, to be surely operated in whatever sunk site, and the device is miniaturized, to be lightened in weight to extend a life, further with a structure simplified and maintenance also facilitated.
A small sized ultrasonic wave transmitter B mounted in a lamp buoy and a push switch 2 operated at a prescribed water pressure are electrically connected. In a diaphragm 4 covering an outer end surface of a push button 3, when a water pressure is applied in a prescribed water depth, the push button 3 is pressed thereby. By this action, the small-sized ultrasonic wave transmitter B is operated, this signal is received by a receiving equipment of a search ship. By this signal, a sunk position of the lamp buoy can be estimated.
