Abstract:
To minimize the adverse effect of a refrigerant leak on an occupant even in a case where the refrigerant of a seat air-conditioning device installed for each of seats in a vehicle leaks.SOLUTION: A seat air-conditioning device comprises: a seat air-conditioning unit 152 provided for each of seats in a vehicle and performing individual air-conditioning for an occupant seated in the seat provided with the device, by blowing a current of air cooled using a vapor compression refrigeration cycle of a refrigerant; a leak estimation unit 151 that estimates a sudden leak of the refrigerant; and a discharge control unit 153 a discharge pipe of which is directed within a vehicle cabin but not directed toward the occupant seated in the seat. In a case where a sudden leak of the refrigerant is estimated by the leak estimation unit 151, the discharge control unit 153 controls an electromagnetic valve 106 to discharge the refrigerant from the discharge pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
