Title:
SEAT FOR AUTOMOBILE HAVING SPRING CORE ON LOWER FRAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0241112
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a supporting piece without affecting a reaction to an upper frame on an edge copressive motion, by constructing a supporting piece as a foamed material fixing a lower side, inserting between springs extending from a lower frame to an upper frame and at least partially surrounding the springs. CONSTITUTION: A part faced to lengthwise direction of a car of an upper frame 4 is supported by a lower frame through front springs 5, 6 constituted as a coil compression spring and springs 7-9 successive to them and wound in a snake state. A supporting piece 10 to protect not only vibration motion but also too strong side compression comprises a foamed material block 11 and its initial hardness can easily be adaptable to a requirement different from its material composition and density. The foamed material block 11 is inserted between the both front springs 5, 6 and surrounds at least a part of these springs, and its upper face 12 supports the upper frame 4. When a force acts horizontally, both foamed material blocks 11 protect an excess inclination of both springs 5, 6, and therefore an uncomfortable floating motion phenomenon can be protected.
