Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent production of an uncomfortable fastening feeling, by a method wherein, in a device which energizes a seat belt in a containing direction by means of the traction force of a traction part, e.g. retractor, a diminishing part to diminish the traction force in linkage with a member controlled during riding is provided. CONSTITUTION:A seat belt 3 to the tip of which a lock tool 4 removable from a support part 5 is mounted is tracked in a containing direction by means of a traction part 6. In the so constituted seat belt, an diminishing part 7 to diminish the traction force of the traction part 6 is provided. The diminishing part 7 is formed by a leaf spring material, the one end part thereof is attached to a frame 8 and the central part thereof is bent to form a press part 7a. When, after a driver rides in a car, a door 15 is closed, the diminishing part 7 is pressed against the seat belt 3 side through the medium of a press member 13, and this constitution forces the seat belt 3 to be nipped between the press part 7a and a recessed part 9 of a frame 1 to diminish the traction force of the traction part 6.
