To obtain a seat belt device capable of improving wearing property of the seat belt.
The seat belt device 10 includes: a webbing 20 whose one end is wound to be drawn out by a retractor 22, which takes a storage position along a front surface of a seat back 14 when the device is not worn; a tongue plate 26 provided in a middle part 20B of the webbing 20; a buckle 30 which is provided at the opposite side in a seat width direction to the tongue plate 26, to/from which the tongue plate 26 can be attached/removed; a first bag 36 which is provided inside the seat cushion 12 as well as connected to the buckle 30, and is expanded when not seated in the seat cushion 12; and a second bag 40 which is provided below the tongue plate 26 in the middle part 20B of the webbing 20 and expanded when the first bag 36 is compressed. When the person is seated in the seat cushion 12 and the first bag 36 is compressed, the tongue plate 26 and the buckle 30 are moved to wearing preparation positions.
