Abstract:
To provide a seat belt device capable of illuminating a seat belt in itself.
A linear transparent material 17 is knitted into a seat belt 11 or attached to a surface of the seat belt 11, and an end is provided in an anchor 12. An LED light source 18a is provided in the anchor 12 in such a manner as to face the end of the transparent material 17. The LED light source 18a is turned on when it is detected that a person sits on a seat, and blinked when engagement of a tongue with a buckle 16 is not detected even after a lapse of a predetermined amount of time after that.
