Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat cushion for automobiles capable of reducing the pressure that a buttock receives from lowers anchors in case of a collision at a rear surface or the like.
SOLUTION: Support pads 40 which extend along a bank section 21 and consist of a polymeric resin foam harder than a cushion material 20 within the bank section 21 of the cushion material 20 are disposed between a pair of the right and left lower anchors 30 and at least the front surfaces thereof are disposed forward side from the lower anchors 30 and further are embedded into a seat frame 10 in the state of being supported by the seat frame. The support pads 40 are integrated with the cushion material 20 during the expansion molding of the cushion material 20.
