Abstract:
To effectively reduce formaldehyde and acetaldehyde while suppressing the used amount of aldehyde catcher agent in a seat cushion.
The seat cushion includes: a seat pad 2 made of polyurethane foam having a seat surface 2a, lateral surfaces 2b formed downward from the peripheral edge of the seat surface 2a, and a rear surface 2c formed with the lower end of each lateral surface 2b being the peripheral edge; and a surface skin material 3 for covering the seat surface 2a and each lateral surface 2b of the seat pad 2. In the cushion, the aldehyde catcher agent is applied only to the rear surface 2c of the seat pad 2.
