Abstract:
To assure strength required for a seat frame, to reduce its weight, and to eliminate a process to insert a reinforcing member.
The seat frame made of a synthetic resin has an external frame part 12 of a main body 10 of a frame which is integrally molded by the synthetic resin material and has a hollow shape and the inside of the external frame part 12 filled with a foam 18. As a result, increased rigidity of the external frame part 12 assures strength required for the seat frame, and the seat frame can be made lightweight. Productivity is also increased due to an elimination of a process to insert the reinforcing member into the main body 10 of the frame.
