Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce and kill an impact applied to the front of a seat so as to improve safety of the seat by instantaneously lifting the front end of a seat bottom frame of the seat arranged in the front row in the inside of an airplane or a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A rear end part 8a of a seat bottom frame 8 is installed in a base frame 5 of a seat so that a front end part 8b side can be freely moved vertically and forward/backward to the base frame 5 of the seat, and a working lever, to which a spring-up device 12 provided with upward energizing force is connected via a lock mechanism, is installed in the front part on the seat bottom frame 8 lower face. When the seat bottom frame 8 is suddenly moved forward with a passenger sitting on a seat bottom 6 because of an impact load in an accident or the like, the lock mechanism of the working lever is released and the front end part, 8b of the seat bottom frame 8 is sprung up, so that leg parts of a passenger are lifted to the front of the seat, and as a result, the head part, of the passenger is prevented from being projected forward by the leg parts and colliding against the wall face.
