Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a seat having a structure for considerably absorbing a shock energy when a air transport craft crashes on the ground and to particularly eliminate a rotation of the seat for abruptly throwing out a passenger.
CONSTITUTION: The seal leg structure comprises an energy absorbing device 13, and a rear leg 8 coupled at its upper part 35 to the device 13 separate from below a coupling 10. Further, the leg 8 and the structure 1 are constituted so that the leg 8 is bent and deformed when the structure 1 is deformed, and its theoretical or real bending rotary axis is substantially perpendicular to an initial normal position of a coupling shaft 12 of a seat framework 2 of the leg 8.
