Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely raising and lowering a seat between a chair seat height position and a floor height position and stably support the seat, by constituting a wheelchair in such a manner than a sheet frame is moved to the chair seat height position, when a suspension arm is in an upward position and the seat frame is moved to the floor height position in the forward position.
SOLUTION: At first, a footrest 23 is rotated outward and a front handle 25 is held to release the lock. Secondly, when the front handle 25 is pulled forward, a seat frame 30 is moved downward to the front, and a suspension arm is tilted frontward. Then, the seat frame 30 is moved downward to the front, the seat 36 reached the floor height position, and the suspension arm 40 is locked in the forward position. This constitution allows a rider to easily get off from the seat 36. Then, the front handle 25 is held so as to release the lock, and the rider raises the body slightly from the seat, raises the seat frame 30, and reaches the chair height position. When the suspension arm 40 is in the upward position and locked, the wheelchair 1 is set to a state ready to travel in the chair seat height position.
