PURPOSE: To make it unnecessary for an attendant to look for an empty seat and on the other hand, to allow a teacher to confirm the name of the attendant by each seat by inputting the register of the attendant and a seat number by a portable input device and displaying them on a management device for a teacher.

CONSTITUTION: The system consists of the portable input device 1 which is passed round seats after the attendant takes a seat and the management device for a teacher 2 used on a platform. The portable input device 1 stores in a storage means 15 individual identification information including the individual identification code of a student's card read by a reading means 13 and seat taking information including a seat identification code inputted by an input means 12, and seat taking information is transmitted to the management device for a teacher 2 by way of communication means 14 and 24a which are respectively provided for the portable input device 1 and the management device for a teacher 2. On the other hand, the management device for a teacher 2 holds seat arrangement information and attendant information of the attendant who should attend the lecture in a storage means 25 and based on them and seat taking information transmitted from the portable input device 1, a display device 21 video-displays the name of the attendant taking each seat on a display means.
