Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly workability of a seat member of a chair.SOLUTION: In a chair, a seat member is joined in the way that a front end part can be flipped up around a rear end part. The seat member is provided with: a seat part frame 21 to which a rear end part 21r is freely rotatably joined; a seat surface member covering the seat part frame 21; and a lower cover 22 covering the lower part of the seat part frame 21. The lower cover 22 is provided with: an insertion part 26 in which the front end part 21f of the seat part frame 21 is inserted; and an arm cover part 29 holding the rear end part 21r of the seat part frame 21. When the rear end part 21r of the seat part frame 21 is displaced downward, and the seat part frame 21 is fitted to the lower cover 22, the arm cover part 29 is elastically deformed, and the elastic deformation is restored in the state that the rear end part 21r is held.
