Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pad production method that can prevent recesses occurring in a pad body of the circumference of a small pad.SOLUTION: A small pad comprising a foam molded body being different from the flexible foam comes in close contact with a wall provided on a cavity surface of a first die directly or through backside materials. The raw liquid of the flexible foam is foamed between the first die and a second die, and thereby a pad body comprising the flexible foam is integrated with the small pad. The wall is provided near an outer edge from a center-point of a line segment for connecting an outer edge of a portion where the backside of the small pad comes close to the cavity surface with the center of the outer edge. The sneak of the raw liquid to the backside of the small pad is prevented by the wall, and therefore the recesses occurring in the pad body can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
