Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a seat slide device for automobile which can lock-operate and lock-release-operate the left/right lock mechanisms at the same time, independently of the deflection of the installation position of the left/right lower rail and the left/right upper rail.
CONSTITUTION: An installation bracket 31 on the front side of a left side lower rail 1L is constituted of the first and the second bracket parts 31A and 31B and a spacer 31C, and the second bracket part 31B which is fixed on the cross member F side of a car body floor is installed so as to be shiftable in the longitudinal direction for the first bracket part 31A fixed on the lower rail 1L side.
