PURPOSE: To improve the operability for a seat having a walk-in mechanism for inclining the seat forward in a two-door car for a passenger to get on/off a rear seat, and moving the seat forward for facilitating getting on/off, achieve a compact, light and low-cost one, automate its operation, and enable it operated manually.

CONSTITUTION: An actuator 7 is provided at a seat having a walk-in mechanism, so the actuator 7 is driven to release lock of the walk-in mechanism and let a seat back 4 and a seat cushion restore automatically, a switch 34 to detect automatic restoration positions for the seat back 4 and the seat cushion 3, and the actuator 7 is moved to a seat back 4 inclining position and a seat cushion 3 advance position to keep stand-by. The operability of the seat for a vehicle having the walk-in mechanism can be improved, and a compact, light and low-cost one can be provided.
