Abstract:
To provide a seat for vehicle which is movable to an adequate position for holding the head of a crew in spite of a stay shorter than heretofore and with which the housing section of a seat back can be made shorter by the short stay.
A recessed part 4 which is capable of housing at least a portion of a headrest 14 and can rotate and erect the headrest 14 is formed at the apex of the seat back 12. The stay 13 of the headrest 14 is provided with stopper means 15 which supports the headrest 14 rotatably and erectably from the state of housing the headrest 14 into the recessed part 4 to the upper side and holds the headrest 14 in the rotated and erected position.
