Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle which has a side-supporting function to allow a person to easily get on and off.
SOLUTION: When a person gets off a vehicle, the forward end of an upper side cushion support frame 6 constituting a side support S.S on the side of a door is moved downwardly to the center of a seat by a frame support mechanism 15, whereby the seating surface of a film-like elastic cushion 11 can be inclined in a direction, in which the person steps forward when he gets off, and hence the thigh of the person is prevented from being caught by the support S.S so that he can easily get off the vehicle.
