PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle seat by which a driver can adjust the pressure distribution on the central and peripheral parts of the pelvis and on the lumbar vertebra and the pelvis as he/she likes suitable for his/her physique, by controlling the pressure of a plurality of air bags of which pressure can be adjusted independently for the central part and the peripheral part of the pelvis of a sitter based on a designated pressure.

CONSTITUTION: On a back rest 32 of a seat 31, an air bag A17 is mounted on the corresponding position to the central part of the pelvis and an air bag 18 to its peripheral part, and pressure of the air bags A and B can be independently adjusted. A pressure adjuster 19 performs increasing and decreasing of the pressure of air bags A and B by the instruction from a controller 20. An adjust switch 21 is a switch to adjust the pressure of the air bags A and B and the pressure loaded on the central and peripheral parts of the pelvis can be arbitrarily adjusted by each driver so as to fit to his/her physique and the ratio of pressure loaded on the pelvis to that on the lumbar vertebra can also be adjusted.
