To provide a seatback which improves a feeling of a foreign object caused by a spring, is designed to reduce weight, and realizes to reduce a cost.

The seatback includes the following parts: A seatback frame 11 retains a configuration of the seatback. A seatback pad 12 is formed by a combination of an upper pad 18 which covers on the top part of the seatback frame 11 and is supported thereby, a lower pad 19 which covers on the bottom part of the seatback frame 11 and is supported thereby while winding in a reclining rod 25, and a felt 20 for receiving a spring which is joined to either the upper or lower pad 18, 19 integrally between them and extends to the other pad, either the upper or lower pad 18, 19. A seatback trim cover 13 has a wadding 24 joined to an inner surface of a bag 21 at a back pad part 23 of the bag 21, after an outer cover material is sewed into the bag 21.
