Abstract:
To provide a safe seating device for assisting with a bath which enables a user to get in and out of a bathtub and to turn over his/her body on a seat board safely, promises a stable attachment of the seat board to various kinds of the bathtub, and prevents the user from getting hurt.
The seating device for assisting with a bath is made up of a seat board 2 and a securing member 3 for attaching the seat board 2 to the upper surface of a side wall 1a of a bathtub 1. Handrails 2a are formed all around the seat board 2. The seat board 2 is attached to the securing member 3 along the thickness of the side wall 1a in a manner that positions to attach the seat board 2 can be adjusted.
