Abstract:
1. Furniture for sitting or reating on, with top and bottom sections and with a seating or resting surface suspended so as to swing in pendulum fashion, the top section (12) supporting the seating or resting surface and being positioned directly above the bottom section (13) and being mounted thereon in pendulum fashion via several pendulums (11), by means of arms (17) mounted beneath it and projecting downwards, the bottom section resting on the floor, characterized in that there are one or more counter-pendulums (14) of variable pendulum length which serve to influence the movement.
