Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain fresh water efficiently from seawater without evaporating seawater by imparting evaporation heat thereto.SOLUTION: Seawater is changed into mist by an electrostatic atomizing device 1. The mist is transferred into a separator 3 with carrier gas, and the mist of a large grain having a high salinity concentration is removed in the separator 3. Then, the carrier gas from which the mist of the large grain is removed is conveyed into an adsorber 4, and moisture comprising both of fine mist in the carrier gas and steam is adsorbed by a hydrophilic adsorbent 5 in the adsorber 4, and then liquified and recovered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
