Title:
SEAWATER DESALTING METHOD AND SEAWATER DESALTING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3914963
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system of seawater desalting for efficiently removing sodium (Na) in seawater.
SOLUTION: A high frequency current is applied to seawater to react sodium ions in seawater with chlorine ions to form crystals 100 of sodium chloride. The seawater containing the formed crystals 100 of sodium chloride is filtered to remove the crystals 100 of sodium chloride. When the crystals 100 of sodium chloride are removed by filtering seawater containing the crystals 100 of sodium chloride, seawater is made to permeate through a ring tube filter having constitution wherein a plurality of flat plate rings are superposed one upon another.
