Abstract:
To provide a seawater temperature controller that can lower the sea surface temperature without requiring large external energy.SOLUTION: A seawater temperature controller 1 has: a feeder 2 that is disposed on the sea surface and feeds concentrated seawater; a front duct 31 to be fed with the concentrated seawater from the feeder 2; a diluter 32 that is disposed at a predetermined depth in the sea, allows the concentrated seawater fed to the front duct 31 to circulate therethrough, and dilutes the concentrated seawater to make reduced seawater; a rear duct 33 that allows the reduced seawater, made by the diluter 32, to circulate therethrough; and a discharger 4 that discharges the reduced seawater having circulated through the rear duct 33. The diluter 32 has a semipermeable membrane disposed between the surrounding seawater and the internally circulating concentrated seawater, and dilutes the concentrated seawater with the water of the seawater having passed through the semipermeable membrane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
