Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance of a rear inclination side cylinder hardly swept by traveling wind and to enhance cooling efficiency of a secondary air supply selector valve.
SOLUTION: In the V-type engine 1 with a cylinder axis of the rear inclination side cylinder 3R arranged offset toward a vehicle width direction, the secondary air supply selector valve 14 is provided for supplying secondary air to respective exhaust pipes of a forward inclination side cylinder 3R and the rear inclination side cylinder 3R, and the secondary air supply selector valve 14 is arranged between a V-shaped V-banks 6 and in a side opposite of an offset direction of the rear inclination side cylinder 3R.
