To provide a secondary battery charge system setting an efficient charge mode in using an electronic apparatus in which a secondary battery is mounted, by arbitrary setting of a repetition cycle of a charge period by a user.
A secondary battery charge system has: a power generation device which has variable power generation capability and supplies a secondary battery with charge current; and a secondary battery charge device which controls charge to the secondary battery by using the charge current. The secondary battery charge device has: a charge switch controlling whether to supply the secondary battery with the charge current of the power generation device; a power storage part provided between the power generation device and the charge switch; a power storage amount measurement part measuring a power storage amount of electric energy stored in the power storage part; and a charge control part which compares the power storage amount and a preset power storage amount threshold, and performs on/off control of the charge switch on the basis of the comparison result. The secondary battery charge device starts charge to the secondary battery by turning on the charge switch, when the charge amount has exceeded the power storage amount threshold after the charge control part's turning off the charge switch.
