The secondary battery electrode includes the collector formed of an aluminum non-woven cloth having pure aluminum or aluminum alloy fibers with their diameters of 50-100 m, their weights per unit area of 300-600 g/m2 and their voidage of 50-96%, and an active material supported by the collector, the collector having a thickness of 1 mm or smaller when forming the electrode.
