Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a secondary battery which can be introduced into an existing facility in a relatively easy manner and enable a gas generated in a manufacturing process to be sent to the outside of a building.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus 100 of a secondary battery 10 includes: a cutting section 140 which cuts a part of an exterior body 20 of a sub-assembly 70 to form a gas vent hole 72 for discharging a gas having density lower than that of dry air to the outside of the exterior body; a gas reservoir part 150 which forms a reservoir space 154 for accumulating the gas discharged from the gas vent hole with a partition wall 153 which covers an area above the gas vent hole and opens at a bottom part; a suction port 170 which communicates with the reservoir space; and a suction pump 180 which is connected to the suction port and suctions the gas accumulated in the reservoir space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
