Abstract:
To suppress thermal deterioration of a metal joint formed at a contact interface of members constituting an electrode terminal.SOLUTION: An electrode terminal 20 of a secondary battery disclosed herein includes a first member 30 having a plate-shaped connection portion 34, and a plate-shaped second member 40 connected to the connection portion 34 of the first member 30 in surface contact. In the technique disclosed herein, a metal joint 70 and a heat insulating portion 80 are formed at the contact interface between the connection portion 34 of the first member 30 and the second member 40, and the heat insulating portion 80 is formed outside the metal joint 70 in the radial direction in which the metal joint 70 is centered. As a result, even when a large amount of heat is applied to an area outside the heat insulating portion 80, the large amount of heat can be blocked by the heat insulating portion 80, such that thermal deterioration of the metal joint 70 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
