Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for quick and efficient balance operation, by selecting an arbitrary combination of secondary batteries, while preventing short circuit of the secondary batteries.SOLUTION: A secondary battery selection circuit includes a plurality of selection switches U1-U13 interposed between secondary battery groups C1-C12 and a charge storage capacitor CD and selecting the secondary batteries, and first and second selectors Y0, Y1 selecting any one of the odd-numbered and even-numbered selection switches, respectively. The odd-numbered selection switches are interconnected and connected with an odd-numbered bus B1, while the even-numbered selection switches are interconnected and connected with an even-numbered bus B2. Based on the selection operation of the first and second selectors, a charge storage capacitor is charged by a plurality of continuous secondary batteries C1-C3, terminals of secondary batteries C4 of smaller number than the plurality of continuous number are connected based on the selection operation of the first and second selectors, and the secondary batteries C4 of smaller number than the plurality of continuous number are charged from the charge storage capacitor CD thus charged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
