To provide a secondary battery that can avoid an excessive heat increase phenomenon and an ignition phenomenon, by changing the paths of short circuit current many times and a lot of fuses being melt and cut off when a nail penetrates the battery.
Disclosed is a secondary battery, comprising: a case; an electrode assembly arranged inside the case; a current collector electrically connected to the electrode assembly; a terminal connected to the current collector; and a first short circuit induction member electrically connected to the electrode assembly and the current collector, the first short circuit induction member being arranged between the electrode assembly and the case, the first short circuit induction member further including a first fuse.
