PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of achieving high output and high capacity.SOLUTION: A secondary battery (100) includes: an electrode (10); an electrode (20); an ion transmission member (30) in contact with the electrode (10) and the electrode (20); and a hole transmission member (40) in contact with the electrode (10) and the electrode (20). Preferably, the electrode (10) contains a composite oxide, and the composite oxide contains an alkaline metal or an alkaline earth metal. The composite oxide contains a p-type composite oxide which is a p-type semiconductor.
