Abstract:
To provide a secondary battery capable of having an excellent battery characteristic.SOLUTION: A secondary battery includes a partition wall that separates a first space and a second space from each other and transmits metal ions between the first space and the second space, a negative electrode that is disposed inside the first space and occludes and releases the metal ions, a positive electrode that is disposed inside the second space and occludes and releases the metal ions, a first aqueous electrolyte solution contained in the first space and including the metal ions that are occluded and released in the negative electrode and the positive electrode, and a second aqueous electrolyte solution contained in the second space, including the metal ions that are occluded and released in the negative electrode and the positive electrode, and having a smaller pH than the pH of the first aqueous electrolyte solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
