PURPOSE: To obtain a secondary battery with high energy density and high current density, having a positive electrode mainly comprising a disulfide compound and polyaniline, a negative electrode, and an organic electrolyte containing LiBF4 and LiClO4.
CONSTITUTION: In a secondary battery having a positive electrode mainly comprising a disulfide compound and polyaniline, an organic electrolyte containing LiBF4 and LiClO4 as an electrolyte salt is used. By mixing LiClO4 and LiBF4, the catalytic effect of polyaniline on the disulfide compound is enhanced. The mixing molar ratio of LiClO4 to LiBF4 is 1:4 to 1:19 and the total concentration is 1-2M. By using the mixed salt of LiCLO4 and LiBF4, the active composite of disulfide compound and polyaniline is easily formed and the catalytic effect is enhanced.
