Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively remove impurities in electrolyte and reduce self discharge by holding polyacetylene separately from electrodes so as not to contact electrodes but contact organic electrolyte.
CONSTITUTION: In a secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic electrode, and whose at least one electrode consists of polymer having cojugated double bonds in its principal ahain, polyacetylene is held separately from the electrodes so as not to contact electrodes but contact electrolyte. Self discharge in the secondary battery using polymer having conjugated double bonds in its principal chain in the electrode is effectively reduced.
