Title:
SECONDARY CODE DETERMINATION IN SNAPSHOT RECEIVER BASED UPON TRANSMISSION TIME ALIGNMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2023055213
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To achieve centimeter-level GNSS positioning accuracy.SOLUTION: The carrier phase ready coherent acquisition of a GNSS snapshot signal includes the steps of: receiving, in a snapshot receiver, different GNSS snapshot signals from corresponding different GNSS satellites; and performing multi-hypothesis (MH) acquisition upon each of the different GNSS signals to produce a complete set of secondary code index hypotheses. The secondary code index hypotheses are adjusted for each of the different GNSS signals based on a flight time difference determined for each GNSS satellite, so as to produce a new set of secondary code index hypotheses. Finally, one of the hypotheses in the new set is selected as a correct hypothesis based on a predominant common index, and acquisition results for the GNSS signals are filtered utilizing the correct hypothesis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
