PURPOSE: To provide a secondary cooling device for continuous casting which increases the effect for cooling a cast slab, eliminates a heat radiating zone and improves the uniformity of a cooling.

CONSTITUTION: The secondary cooling device is provided with fixed shafts 1 providing sprays for a large quantity of flow rate for secondary cooling capable of spraying of the liquid coolant 10 toward a liquid coolant supplying passage and the surface of the cast slab 9 and sprays for a little quantity of flow rate for secondary cooling on the other and supporting rolls 11 whose inside is divided into plural zones and which is composed of rotating rolls 2 opening plural holes being the liquid coolant 10 on the inner diameter surfaces and the outer diameter surfaces thereof.
