Title:
SECONDARY STATION FOR COMMUNICATING MESSAGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3862735
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary station which communicate a message in an environment which is exposed to fading.
SOLUTION: At a transmitter, a checksum (CSM) is determined for an encoded and formatted data, and the checksum (CSM) is concatenated with encoded and formatted message cord words (M1, M2, M3) to form a message. The secondary station, in response to recognizing its own address code word, decodes and stores the concatenated code words. In response to each code word stored, checksum for the message assembled so far is substantially computed simultaneously and is compared to the checksum in the address code word (ADD). When they are equal, it is determined that a complete message has been received, and further analysis for the stored message is terminated.
