Abstract:
To provide a section line detection technology capable of reducing such a situation that a target parking position is shifted from a correct position due to an influence of a vehicle parked in a parking section adjacent to a parking section including the target parking position.SOLUTION: A section line detection device comprises: a detection part for detecting first and second section lines from a camera photographic image; a position calculation part for calculating a target parking position between the first section line and the second section line; and an update part for updating the first section line to a first new section line. The update part is configured to, when the detection part detects the first new section line at a position across the first division line from the target parking position, and when a first angle made by a straight line connecting an endpoint corresponding to a vehicle side end of the first new division line to an endpoint corresponding to a vehicle side end of the second division line and the second division line is out of a predetermined range, not update the first division line to the first new division line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
