To provide a section steel tank which has a square cylindrical part formed by connecting section steel members, and a bottom plate and a top plate provided at the square cylindrical part, and is easily manufactured, can be rapidly assembled, and is inexpensive.
This section steel tank is constituted of at least the square cylindrical part formed by connecting the section steel members, and the bottom plate and the top plate for the square cylindrical part. The section steel member forms one unit composed of a side plate forming a side of the tank, a cross-sectional U-shaped part in which both sides of the side plate are bent and integrally continuously provided, and side members in which the upper end and a part of the lower end of the side plate are bent inside (the cross-sectional U-shaped part side) and integrally molded. A plurality of the side faces of the cross-sectional U-shaped part of the section steel members are continuously provided to constitute the square cylindrical member. The bottom plate and the top plate are composed of box-shaped members with bent four sides, and bent flanges are connected to each other. In addition, the bottom plate and the top plate are fitted to the upper part and the lower part of the square cylindrical member to constitute the square tank.
