Title:
SECTIONAL CONTAINER IN TIRE VULCANIZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001062836
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a sectional container in a tire vulcanizer which can facilitate maintenance of internal pressure by a simple constitution, makes precise machined components unnecessary for changing a vertical force of operation into a horizontal one so that biased abrasion of components do not occur, and which has a simple constitution and can be manufactured inexpensively.

Actuators 13 of hydraulic cylinders or the like making sector molds 1 operate for expansion and contraction synchronously in the horizontal direction toward the center of an unvulcanized tire Wx are fitted to the backs of container segments 12 respectively, and internal pressure maintaining rings 14a and 14b which maintain the internal pressure in the circumferential direction on the occasion of vulcanization of a tire are provided outside the container segments 12. Besides, indented engaging means 18a and 18b engaging with each other for maintaining the internal pressure on the occasion of vulcanization are formed in the upper and lower parts of the container segments 12 and in a base plate 6a and a top plate 7.
